The space is added by the contact form. I suggest you check the form first. Or create a new one.
I can’t fix it. I deleted whole contact form and the white bar is still unchangeable.
I have deactivated the Yellow Pencil and now seems the space it was removed.
Can you check it and let us know.

I have removed the white space bar with adding a custom css line:
.composer_content{padding-bottom:0px;}
I also recommend you to update the theme to the latest version.
