Widgets resetting every time the theme is updated

  Hi, everyone!
  
  We are facing some trouble with the widgets resetting every time the theme is updated/deactivated.
  
  This is annoying because every time we need to adjust the footer on the website

  The items in “Footer Column” 1 always go back to “Sidebar Pages”.
  
  Do you know if there is a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

  Hi,
  Please share screen shot where you are facing the problem, website url, wp-admin and ftp info (login/ passwords) and send using “private reply” .
