Hello,
The visual composer does not have the option to divide a row in 5 equally pieces and media grid element its a visual composer element. So it is not possible to have 5 images equally distributed. The row before the footer at default demo of specular contains the clients element, so they can be displayed in that way.

To remove mega menus go to –> Apperance > Menus and select the menu that you want to edit. See this screenshot (https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/1429498/fe44eedd6f9d0d2cf346671f49f65b33)
and uncheck the button to remove the mega menu.

This issue may be due to some plugins that conflicts codeless slider. Try deactivating some of them (third party plugins mostly) and see if one of them it conflicts. If the issue persist, send us your credentials in a private reply, so we can give it a closer look.
