You can resize the logo on General options > Logo height. But i need to see your site to understand better the situation. The logo it can be fixed with some CSS.
Did you turn on the Show Responsive Menu Dropdown button on Header options?

There are many factors that affect on page loading speed.
First i suggest you to delete the content you do not use, delete the unused plugins.

Hello,
We imported your demo data and slider dummy data, but we can not import the images because of some restrictions on your host that don’t allow them to be imported. One of your plugins Fusion Core it conflicts with Codeless Slider. I deactivated so you can create sliders with Codeles Slider as you wish (watch this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6M_uyvqiuU).
We also configured you homepage similar to our church demo home.
Please update theme to its latest version (2.0) to avoid causing other configuration conflicts.

and replace this code

with this
$output .= '<h6>'.esc_html(get_the_title()).' </h6><span class="position"> '.esc_attr($cl_redata['staff_position']).'</span>';
