I managed to create a staging installation.

Same login.

I deactivated all plugins, except ones related to Specular and WpBakery.
I also kept those of WPMl, but because they sort of break the aspect of the accordion tabs header.

Let’s work on the same page:

I still think it is a problem related to Specular theme: it has something to do with the title header, or the header or the #content div
If you try setting

.single-portfolio #content {
padding-top: 150px !important;
}
you will see the first accordion tab hidden behind the header.
(but this is a css rule from the Specular style.css. I cannot be overwritten).

The fix that you added trying to adjust the footer does not seem to work properly, it scrolls down too much, there is a lot of white space with non sense.

The jQuery error is still in the developer console. Any css fix would not solve until we do not fix this one.

the issue still persists.
Now the page scrolls but the content is still hidden under the header and there is no footer.
You can check any other page to see how the footer looks like.
The jQuery error is till there.

as far I see the slug now works, but there still the layout issue.

“the layout is broken, the page content starts below the header cutting some content, the page cannot be scrolled down and it never reaches the footer”

If you notice in the page there is an accordion, but the first tab is covered by the header, and you cannot scroll down and see the footer.
Look at the js console, you will find a jQuery error.

I spent an hour trying to restore the version 4.2.5 and after several attempts e fatal errors I had to comment row 569
//if ( is_plugin_active( ‘specular-wpbakery-addons/specular-wpbakery-addons.php’ ) )
in register-pos-types.php in codeless framework.
to reach a stable situation and retrieve Codeless Slider.

Please look into it if possible to update to 4.2.8

I replaced files in child theme according with the new templates.
Nothing has changed.
Plus I noticed that header images in portfolio pages have disappeared.
I don’t know what to do really :_(

Hello Azam,
I think a video is useless in this case.
Simply there is not Codeless Slider as post type in the backend.
And in the homepage the slider is of course missing because I cannot select an existing one.

I even tried to select Specular as active theme, instead of its child, but nothing has changed.

This website is active since 2016, and I passed from Specular 2.0 until today, so I think I know how to upgrade :)
