The carousel is not only composed from images. It has other elements (like example the navigation). So when the row centering settings are applied, it will consider these other layers as well. Not just the image. Resulting to a different alignment, then the one you expect.
This is why there are additional options, like the column padding, to give you the possibility to achieve every layout you want.
Please read my last reply carefully. As i said, it my be due to the third party plugin you are using to configure the child theme. Deactivate it and use the theme’s included child theme. You can customize it just like the parent theme, but the changes made to child theme files will not be affected by any future theme update.
What do you mean by “I still just see “Portfolio Slug” and “Active Portfolio Like”.
The screenshot i send you is a preview of your site’s portfolio config options. You can clearly see the “Custom Fields Parameters” there. Just after the “portfolio slug”, see the same screenshot with this option point out in red box: https://pho.to/AWutp
Is this not what you are seeing? Send us a screenshot so i can understand better.
This is a process not depended from theme and not covered from support. I suggest you to contact your current host provider and ask for their support in the process of moving the host.

Theme does overwrites some of VC elements and has removed others. To add more, please go to file includes/core/codeless_elements.php and comment out all the elements you want to add.
Example: //vc_remove_element("vc_btn"); -will let the button element, display in your Visual Composer elements grid. vc_remove_element("vc_btn"); -will remove it.
To check the overwritten elements files, please go to vc_templates/ folder in your theme. The post grid element is not overwritten from theme.
However, we have tested Visual Composer plugin and it does not have any incompatibility with theme scrips. If you want, you can send us your wp credentials and we can give this a closer look.

2-You can use the fullcreen page for this. Just go to the page’s General Settings > Page’s Options & Style > Fullscreen Section Sliding (screenshot) and set it ON.
Make sure to add background image to all Visual Composer rows. Go to Row Settings > Set background image (screenshot).
