I have updated the last theme version (4.1.3) but I don’t have the alert to install required plugin in order to install “Specular WPBakery & Backward Compatibility” plugin.
I am encountering a lo of problems with this theme. I don’t think that it is right to force customers to renew support for responsibility which are not depending from them.
With the 4.1 update, it is what is happening now!

Exactly! Futhermore, in this guide I read at point 2 “2. Do not update to the new version of Specular. In the Main package downloadable from themeforest you can find a copy of the old Specular theme, in case you need it.”.
It is very strange because what I understud from this point, is that I have to keep forever 4.0.9 version.
I am lucky because I moved my customer’s e-commerce recently so I kept a copy on my server in order to make test and update before doing all on the real website

With the last release, I think that we are getting crazy more than before.
For those people who are still using 4.0.9 version, what’s happen now? What do we have to do?

Sorry, I keep on not understanding.
In order to override header.php file, the way, is to modify the file and upload it in specula-child folder?
If yes, I did it. When I upload modified header.php file in this folder, I get the error you can see here https://www.savinoutdoor.it/screenshot.jpg.

I think it is not so simple. I modified header.php file adding only this line in <head> tag:
<meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”iLuZlu9_kfOoH9XP_Jki189xq1kswezZn-g0MMo6rfw” />

After, I saved new header.php file in specular-child folder and I get the error that you can see here

Is there any particular procedure to override theme?

I solved. I don’t know why, but when I start a new translation with Loco Translate plugin, it creates a .po file called codeless-it_IT.po instead of specular-it_IT.po and, futhermore, it uses a .pot file different with only 10 strings. I don’t know where it takes this file.

Anyway, now it works fine.
