— Widgets issue:
Before restoring the backup please check for the in-active widgets from the Widget Area
wp-admin > Appearance > Widgets > Scroll Down there you’ll get in-active widgets.
These widgets might be the one you’ve added previously on the sidebar and footer. This might save your much more time than restoring the backup or creating sidebars from scratch.
— Update:
There’s no predefined date for the update. But, we’ve released a new update of the plugin that was conflicting with Kirki (i.e Codeless Page Builder). So you don’t need to worry about that now.

You can create header as you want from the elementor. There’s no need to add custom CSS as you’re using Remake theme, in remake theme you can create your own header using elementor.
