Just a tip in case someone has the same problem as mine:

If you follow the steps of uninstalling the Visual Composer plugin and the message that the plugin is required didn’t pop up, double check if you are using the child theme. If so, activate the main theme, the message will pop-up, install and activate it, and go back to your child theme.

I had the same requriment couple fo weeks ago. I’ve installed the “Use Any Font” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/) and it worked fine :)

Thanks! This seems to be the solution, but I’m having trouble adding the functions.php file to the child theme. I’ve tried the 3 methos explained on this website ( https://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/a-guide-to-overriding-parent-theme-functions-in-your-child-theme–cms-22623 ) but after I upload it the website stops responding.
Do you have any tutorial on how I can add this function to my child theme?

Sorry, not sure what you mean. Can you explain it further, please?

Just to be clear, I’m trying to make the slider on the top of the page (https://www.mangostormmedia.com/mobile/) load. Currently it only shows the spin icon.
