Featured Image alt text

  When I upload any images to WP, I always include alt text for SEO and accessibility purposes. However, when I add the images to a page as the Featured Image (which I do for all the team photos and portfolio items), the alt text does not show up in the code.
  
  How do I make it so the alt text shows up in the code for featured images?

  In order to add alt text for all featured images, there are a lot of file that need editing. Which is beyond support service.
  However if you can specify what type of portfolio are you using and send us some valid ftp credentials, we can help you this time.
