We had issues that we guessed were regarding this update, so we followed the instructions and updated the plugin, removing the old codeless plugin. However, upon review, the site would not go beyond the loading screen. All content was loaded, but the loading screen would not hide itself. We had to modify the header.php file using a child theme, disabling the loading layer, so we can see the site. However, mobile navigation it’s also affected: there are numerous javascript errors that can be seen with the code inspector in that url.

We are trying to get live this week. Can you help us, please?

Let’s say that the version of Woocommerce 4.0.0 is “important”. before returning to the version 3.9.3 page  I had found the following problems:

– SHOP page of products ( formatting level )

– Cart page. Blank page came out

– Checkout page (not respect the format page)

– Problems with the display of shipping costs (but perhaps it was also a problem of another plugin “Flexible Shipping”.

I’m trying to find a fix for a bug in your Tower theme. I’ve also created a topic: https://support.codeless.co/?topic=sticky-header-doesnt-work-on-specific-scenarios

The bug is that the sticky header stops working if you resize your browser window even by 1 pixel. Or, if you resize after it appears, then the sticky header won’t ever go away. You can see this bug even in your default demo (simply resize your window a bit):

Any temporary fix that I can apply in a child theme please? Can I expect you to fix it in a future update?

I was asked to post this case here, for a possible fix in theme updates;

[WooCommerce Archive Page Title – Product Tag name / Product Attribute Term name]
The h1 title on the tag and attribute archive pages somehow never showed up correctly. Instead, the h1 title (left side from breadcrumbs, inside the header_page container) shows the name of the first product that appears / or no title at all (blank) if no products are being displayed on a selected product archive page.

H1 titles on the product categories and single product pages work fine.

If I turn the Specular theme off; the correct title appears. After activating Specular or Specular-Child; I get the same problem back. This happens with or without plugins (incl. WooCommerce of course). I did take a look at one of your demos, which seems to have the same problem: https://preview.codeless.co/specular/default/?product_tag=iphone

I just purchased Folie yesterday, so I have the updated plug-in. I am confused though because I don’t see the robust on-page editing elements that I saw in your preview or video tutorials.

I chose this theme because it came with WP Bakery, but I am unable to use WPBakery because I cannot activate it without purchasing a separate license. Is that the case? Why wasn’t that stated on your ThemeForest page? Can I use this plug in without purchasing another license?

Hi Azam, I’m unsure why but the Kirki and Codeless builder plugins require deletion and reinstallation about every 24 hours. They are not set to auto-update, but the problem I noted with the builder not working correctly keeps returning every day.

It might be due to the WordFence plugin that’s might update the plugin once it detects the plugin requires an update.

However, I’ve customized the Kirki version to the latest so it won’t be affected by the Wordfence.

I have the “Normal” option selected in Specular > Blog Config > Post Style option. However, when I create a new post the default option is always “Mordern” whose style is broken for some reason and doesn’t display correctly.

How can I make the default option for new posts to be “Normal” by default without having to select “Normal” every time a new post is created?

Hi, the button to delete a row or other things is not visible once your are editing in the codeless builder.
Can you please return it? It’s kind of difficult right now, because you have to go back in to the editing with codes.

As suggested, I’m posting this problem here:

I would like to include either the site name or the logo’s ALT text as the alt text in the logo. Right now it’s displayed with a blank alt text.

This is controlled by ./functions-specular.php with the function codeless_logo.

I can alter that function but then it will be overwritten with updates. Also, it’s not a good practice to display images without alt texts.

As suggested by Azam, I am highlighting this issue with the Podcasts Carousel in the Livecast Theme:

The Podcasts Carousel widget has a setting in the Carousel Options called Start Index.
This is to offset the first podast shown by the number entered.
In my site I have this set to 3.
Viewing in desktop mode this correctly displays podcasts from the 4th oldest.
However, in tablet and mobile view this setting is ignored and the latest podcast is displayed first.

Hello, I have a problem with update WPBakery Page Builder plugin. I Enabled auto-updates but plugins could not updated.

I can’t figure out how to make a new topic… I need help getting homepage to load at all. I just updated theme and now I think there’s an issue with the codeless slider which makes the rest of the page not load. WP Bakery is not showing up on any of the pages, just the code.

Hi! I purchased the Folie theme and uploaded it. Also went through the “demo” process. However, a lot of the pages are broken when I simple try and swap it out for my own content. Furthermore, the theme is pretty hard to customize. I.e. on the portfolio page, it’s not showing all of the categories in fullwidth filter. The filters cut off after 3 and I have 5 filters. If this theme isn’t going to work the way I need it to, I would like to exchange it for Specular. At least I know that one works. Also, I’m getting “critical issues” on the website when updating. Lastly, there’s a “search page” and “might we suggest” block at the bottom that I can’t seem to locate to remove. Lots of weird quirks with this theme.
