Thanks, I’ve found the culprit, it was Ninja Forms. I thought it was OK to use Ninja Forms while temporarily deactivating Specular (to edit the forms), but apparently it still causes trouble when I reactivate the theme and try to change pages and posts. Is there any alternative function in Specular to build forms? My client really needs them, so I am thinking hard to find a solution.
Thank you for your reply. I’ve imported the Minimal demo just like the tutorial video suggested, but other than seeing the new demo pages appear, nothing has changed. The website still looks exactly like the main theme, while I thought it would look like Minimal (which is what my client wanted). I would prefer to make the theme resemble Minimal myself, but thank you for the offer.
OK I’ve just deleted Envato’s Toolkit and then reinstalled it. Same problem with the admin panel. Then I started suspecting Jetpack! So I deleted Jetpack, and guess what happened… The Envato plugin has definitely not caused the issue – Jetpack was to blame! The admin panel is now doing fine and if any issues with Jetpack recur, when I reinstall it, I will contact them.
