I see you have a very old theme version. You need to update theme as well (latest version 2.6.1) because many changes have been made ever since. It is very important for you to keep everything up to date in order to have a functional and safe site.
Since the version you have now is quite old, changes are expected so we strongly suggest to keep a backup of your current site files and database.

Can you please give some more details? How did you install the demo? What wp version do you have? What theme version? Do you have any other plugin installed? Can you tell us the path where the theme files are uploaded?
