I am not sure i understood which part did you want to change, but please try adding these two blocks of css into your Tower > General Options > Custom Css box:

There is not just one type of operating system or just one version of the same operating system. And also, there is not just one version of a browser. As much as technology has advanced, there can be cross-browser differences. No one can guarantee 100% synchrony of browsers around the world.
Please keep in mind that this does not happen only for the theme images in your side, but all images. Like the screenshot link, I send you which is of an external site, and you still were unable to see (my first reply).

It’s the image of the first book on your homepage. Upload it on your site as it is (you can remove it later, but we need it now for test). Then add it to a test page.
I imported the demo and it had no issues. You had set up as home page and blog page the same page. This is not correct and was giving issues as well. I changed them in Specular > General Options.
Please check your site. It’s ok now.
Ps: You can import more sliders from the “sliders-dummy-data” folder, located inside the main zip file you download from Envato.
You need to update the theme. Even if you delay it another month or two, you have to eventually update it. Not just because of WP Bakery but because technology is always developing and core functions of php/wordpress/javascript change from time to time.
That’s why we release updates, in order to make theme compatible with the latest developments. An old theme’s security is not guaranteed either.
I suggest you save a backup of the entire site data (go to Specular > Import/Export > Save Backup) and save a backup of theme files in your computer.
Then upload the latest theme files. DO not keep a copy of old theme folder in the server as it may cause issues.
You may make the update using the Envato market plugin.
Please go to Appearance ▸ Customizing ▸ General ▸ Site Options ▸ Responsive Layout. Make sure it’s set ON. If the situation persists, add some wordpress credentials in a private reply. So we can check this.
Theme is fully responsible as you can see in the online demos. We can help you identify the issue stopping it from showing in your site as well.
WP Bakery, Layer slider and Revolution slider are third parties, premium plugins included in the theme package and fully compatible with theme elements. For these plugins we have purchased an extended license for each. This type of license allows us to include it in the theme package and all customers to be able to use the plugin without needing to buy it first. But it has its limitations, such as you can not update the plugin in your own terms, but only when we include an updated version of it.

This is not an issue we have encountered anywhere else. What version of theme do you have? Please add a link of the site you have issues and some wp credentials in a private reply.

This is the slider added in the demo data. But being Revolution slider a third party plugin which you need to install independently from the theme, this “home-slider” also needs to be installed first.
You can create a new slider and select it in the page’s options > Slider Options. Or import existing ones from Revolution Slider > Import Slider. Find the demo slider’s zip files in the “sliders-dummy-data” folder. This folder is inside the main theme zip file, that you first downloaded from Envato.
