From the Codeless Slider options, that all you can do. But you can customize it further using custom css. I can help you with that, but i need a more precise description. If you can send a link of the site and maybe an image of how you want the title to look like.

I can’t tell as there isn’t any error showing in the console. Just deactivate them all first. Then start activating one at a time, until the error shows up again. The latest activated plugin will be the responsible one.

I checked and there are no apparent errors in your site. Also i copy-pasted all shortcodes of your test page into my installation and had no problems with the Flex slider showing.
I suspect on eof your third party plugins is affecting it’s scripts. Please deactivate them all, first. Then try again.
1-Just add a featured image to the blog page;
2-You can use the included pot files: specular\lang\specular.pot (see related article) Or change them directly from theme files:
–specular\vc_templates\latest_blog.php
–specular\vc_templates\recent_news.php
-all files inside the specular\includes\view\blog folder;
*the later is not recommended as it can prevent you from taking future theme updates.
3-Same as point 2, but in file: specular\includes\view\blog\comments.php
4-go to the user’s profile > Display name publicly as, select here the nickname to be the name that will be used publically in all posts of that user.
