Yes, because the search you had was customized to your needs. It was not left to its default state. And now with the update, the themes have been replaced and the code is back to its original state.

The codeshare link is a temporary link. We can not find it just like you can’t. If you have any saved copy of the old theme files, just access the file and check the differences.

First of all, you do not have to open Customize to edit the theme. The general options are all located under the ‘Specular’ menu in the left sidebar.

-Can you please go to file wp-config.php in the WordPress root folder, in your server. And check if the define('WP_DEBUG', false); is set to false.

-Regarding the Layerslider plugin update, this is one of the bundled plugins. You can not update it on your own. Please see this article for more details:
