    in reply to: Keeping Tower widgitized area in mobile view

    Forgot to ask: Can you please tell me how you fixed this? What code you added, and where you put it?

    I am using this theme on five websites for this company and would like to keep this top bar on all of them.

    Thanks!

    Sorry, that didn’t work. I added the code to the Custom CSS section in the Tower theme (am using a child theme.) The bar still disappears.

    Thank you! (BTW, I did purchase the Tower theme. Just re-registered under that name but haven’t received the password email yet.)

    Can you please tell me where those css files are so I can create a child theme and replace them with Google’s files? Anything to feed the Google Monster and make it happy!

    Thanks!

    I am trying to do this on the Tower theme. I just tried adding this code to both the custom CSS box and the stylesheet.css, and it didn’t work.

    In fact, adding any code to the Custom CSS box does NOT work.

    Any other suggestions?

    Trying it on this page: https://catenacreations.net

    I got all of this to work.

    1) Worked as suggested.

    2) Worked as suggested.

    3) Had to change to to this and now it works.

    @media (max-width: 1100px) and (min-width: 981px){
    .top_wrapper {  width: 100% !important;}
    }

    4) I tried pasting these into Custom CSS but they didn’t work. I had to paste them in styles.css in the appropriate sections, and they work now. So I will need to create a child theme.

    Thanks for your help!

    Thanks! This fixed it, but I had to create a new Portfolio page to get it to read all the right sizes.

    Thank you! That worked!

    Just FYI: I clicked the box that says Notify me of follow-up replies via email. However, I did not get an email regarding your response.

    Got it! But I never would have figured this out by myself without contacting you.
