My friend you can play with permalink settings if it solves for you. Othetwise you may have to play with code files.

Just to confirm then make sure once you update you have to make sure that all required plugins and activated. Once all is done you will be able to see that option.

Currently, it looks all plugins are not activated which are required.

Kindly make sure you are using license for each of your website individually. As single license will work only one website so instead of activating for whole network purchase your license for each website and enable for single site. If you still have any confusion let me know ?
