Now… when I try to add some new content or change images, or pretty much do ANYTHING in the post, when I customize, add the new elements and publish, THEN a lot of my previous work vanishes and looks like this:

When I go to the code I see a lot of the tags, but None of the text I have previously inserted…

Hope you can really help me fast with this. I am very frustrated.

Hello,

I have THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM… and I have 1.2.4… still not good. Please fix this and instead of asking me for additional info (that takes a whole day for you to respond because of time zone differences) please help me with figuring out the problem in my site… I’ve done reinstalls of both theme and required plugins and nothing solves the problem. You have my access codes and ftp info if you require it.

This is an issue that makes me have to do long workarounds every single time… Copy the code OUTSIDE a text file in case it all goes missing and hope next time I can add some things without losing other things… This is tiresome and it should be a piece of cake…

You have my info regarding website and ftp access… please help me find out this annoying bug!

Of course my customer is furious because of slow progress…

I expect some concrete answers and solutions now, please… I cannot wait any longer and even though you respond to me every single time I ask a question, I still don’t see the customer support that I really need.

1. “It is until I place the shortcode WITHOUT USING THE CODELESS EDITOR that it finally shows (the download button)… and that is annoying, as the editor should keep changes… There’s something wrong with the editor… It also has to do with some of the texts suddenly gone from the code…

2. And the TEXT still goes missing…

Oh, sure…sorry about that…

You’ll see the area in the bottom right area (“Brochure”).

I removed the shortcode because it messed up with the layout…

Hello,

I was not referring to that (I think)… what I am trying to say is that I find in the Theme menu (left sidebar) that there is a “Careers” Section (just like “pages” and “Posts”, etc)… And they are, let’s say, “separate pages” from the ones found in pages… and they do have some specific fields (How can I show you screenshots?)…

I’m trying to figure out why is this configured and if that has a specific usage… Because I can’t see how to create a specific position and how to incorporate it to the careers section…

Hope I made myself a bit more clear, let me know please because I could show you what I mean visually with screenshots in the menus…

Hello,

I also installed today’s update (Nov 29) and the content still goes missing…

ALSO…

I am trying to setup files to be downloaded within the site (using the download manager included) and when I attach the shortcode for the download and update the pages, the download icon is not shown in the updated page… when I edit the page I can see that the shortcode is there, but while going into the live page it is not showing… what can it be?

Hello Mihaila,

I don’t have WP Bakery installed… I somehow had two versions of the codeless builder installed (one inactive)… I deleted the older version. Perhaps reinstalling of plugins package would help? I don’t know what it could be.Needless to say, the problem persists.

The correct theme folder…

Are you referring to installing the correct (Main or Child) ZIP file from the downloaded files?

I am sorry, but as I mentioned before, about the stylesheet missing message, I hadn’t done anything other than deactivating and trying to re-install the codeless plugin… and then that happened… So I don’t understand why it happened, as it was supposedly been fixed already…

Anyway, thanks for your reply… I will definitely be handling this theme with extreme care…

Hello Mihaila,

I have updated profile…

I also reinstalled the theme so you can see the mentioned message when I access.

As I mentioned before I have to delete theme folder via FTP in order to be able to access WP dashboard.
