I can see color is applied upon hover but I am not getting what you mean by active ? Do you want to remove that gray effect from all items ? Or anything else kindly be specific so I can assist you accordingly. By now I can’t see any active item there so it is confusing to get it right.

No, just your primary menu needs proper links and nothing else at all. If you don’t mind should I move on and do for you ? Because I can see there is no menu on that page now may be you did something wrong ?
My friend the thing is simple. We can even provide code where we know our clients don’t know. But in this case the code is already written but that code is having issues and that’s why I can do anything on that as that is your custom code and it is beyond the scope of the support.
It looks that is related to your custom work or plugin but not the theme. As there is no error related to theme inside console make sure you discuss with your custom work or plugin’s support ?
